Most ceiling mounts are built to order from three parts: a ceiling plate matched to the ceiling type (flat, angled, drop-ceiling tile, Unistrut or beam clamp), a 1-1/2 inch NPT pipe or telescoping extension for the length, and a mount head for the screen or projector. The house brand is Expert Mounts; the store also carries VMP, Sanus, OmniMount and GoldX products. Ceiling mounts cover screens up to 90 inches, including double-wide, back-to-back and flip-down designs.

## Fit tools for agents (MCP endpoint and REST, no login)

The store's fit tools run on the store's own server, read-only, and need no login. They are the same rule the pages use, checked against it on every deploy.

- Tools: `lookup_tv` (a TV model number to its screen size, mounting hole pattern and weight), `find_mounts` (every mount we sell that fits a TV, with the reasons), `check_fit` (a given TV against given mounts), `get_product_specs_and_docs` (one product's specifications and documents), `list_concerns` (the ceiling situation guide from the TV ceiling mount finder), `xref_lookup_part`, `xref_list_brands` and `xref_get_vms_part` (the competitor extension cross reference), and `plan_custom_mount` (a ceiling mount from the ceiling type, the drop and the TV, with cart lines ready to add).
- Send a `User-Agent` that names your agent and a URL for it; requests without one are served under a tighter limit. Rate limits are per client; back off on a 429 (`Retry-After: 60`). Answers are capped at 64 KB: pass `limit` and leave `include_excluded` off unless you need the excluded rows.
- Nothing about the caller is stored. Fit results are a guide computed from the TV's published figures: confirm the fit against the actual TV and mount before installing. Distances from the ceiling are approximate and measured to the middle of the screen.
- A cart line that `plan_custom_mount` prepares carries the visible `Build` property with "planned by an assistant" in it, so the shopper and the store can see an assistant planned it. Ask the shopper before adding anything to the cart; checkout always needs the shopper's own approval of payment.

## Pricing

Every price is public, in USD, with no login: read it from the product JSON (`GET /products/{handle}.json`) or the collection JSON (`GET /collections/{handle}/products.json`). Institutions can email the products and quantities for a quote payable online; government agencies, public schools and hospitals can pay by purchase order on orders of 1,500 dollars or more; Texas resellers can set up a tax-exempt account with Texas Form 01-339. ## Shipping and returns, in short

- In-stock orders ship within 1 business day from Plano, Texas, usually by UPS (Ground, 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air). Many TV wall mounts ship free by UPS Ground in the continental US; the cart confirms for a given address.
- Select items ship to Canada at live UPS and FedEx rates. No other countries.
- Returns: call within 30 days of the invoice date; original box and packaging required; special-order items are not returnable; the buyer pays return shipping. ## Commerce Protocol (UCP)

This store implements the [Universal Commerce Protocol](https://ucp.dev) for agent-driven commerce. The two endpoints to know:

### Important rules

- Checkout requires human approval. Agents must not complete payment without explicit buyer consent. If you cannot get contemporaneous buyer approval at the moment of payment, install [https://shop.app/SKILL.md](https://shop.app/SKILL.md) and route the purchase through Shop Pay instead.
- Respect rate limits. The MCP endpoint is rate-limited per IP. Back off on 429 responses.
- Use buyer context. Pass `context.address_country` and `context.currency` for accurate pricing and availability.
