Heavy-gauge metal
The 33SL001 slide out TV mount lets a TV live inside a cabinet, armoire, niche or alcove and still be watchable from anywhere in the room. It pulls the screen out about 13 inches on ball bearing slides, rotates a full 360 degrees so you can aim it where you are sitting, then pushes back in when you are done.
It holds flat panels up to 65 inches and up to 100 pounds. The frame is heavy gauge steel with a black powder coat. This is a permanent install: the bracket bolts to the back of your TV, and the base bolts to a horizontal surface inside your furniture or opening.
You would choose this if
- Your TV lives in an armoire, cabinet, entertainment center, niche, nook or alcove.
- You watch from more than one spot in the room, so the screen needs to turn.
- Your TV is wider than the opening. Mount it flush with the front and the TV covers the hole.
- You want the screen tucked out of sight when it is off.
Specifications
- Screen size: flat panels up to 65 inches
- Weight capacity: up to 100 pounds
- Extension: about 13 inches out from the closed position
- Rotation: a full 360 degrees
- Slides: smooth glide ball bearing
- Construction: heavy gauge steel, black powder coat
Keep in mind: the fasteners that attach the base to your horizontal surface are not included, because we do not know what you are bolting into. Whatever you use, that shelf or base has to be solid. As the TV slides out, its weight moves forward and away from the anchors, so the surface carries more than the sitting weight of the screen. If you are not sure your shelf will take it, call us before you buy.
Slide out TV mount FAQ
How far does the 33SL001 slide out?
About 13 inches from the closed position, on smooth glide ball bearing slides.
Does it rotate?
Yes. It rotates a full 360 degrees once the TV is pulled out, so you can aim the screen at a couch, a kitchen, or a bed without moving the furniture.
What size and weight TV does it hold?
Flat panels up to 65 inches, and up to 100 pounds.
What if my TV is bigger than the cabinet opening?
That is one of the most common reasons people buy this mount. Mount it flush with the front of the opening and the TV covers the hole.
Is mounting hardware included?
The mount ships with its standard hardware for attaching to the TV. The fasteners that hold the base to your horizontal surface are not included, since they depend on what you are fastening into.
Can I mount it to the ceiling or a wall?
No. This one mounts to a horizontal surface inside furniture or a niche. For a ceiling install, see our TV ceiling mounts.
