Old model cross reference: what replaced the 33CE004 family
In August 2026 we replaced eight of our longest-running mounts with a new generation built around a new mounting head. If an old model number brought you here, the table below shows exactly which new mount takes its place and what changed.

The old product pages now forward to their replacements, which is probably how you landed here. Nothing about the parts system changed: the new ceiling mounts run on the same 1-1/2 inch NPT pipe, the same ceiling plates, and the same couplers as the mounts they replace, so any masts, extensions or plates you already own thread right onto the new heads.

What changed
The new head is the real difference. Two changes matter most if you are replacing an old mount: the largest screen size is now 86 inches instead of 88, and every mast length runs one inch shorter than the length it replaces.

Check your VESA pattern before you swap
The new head covers hole patterns from 50 to 700 mm wide and 75 to 400 mm tall. That is narrower at the top end than the old head, which reached 760 mm wide. Most TVs fall well inside the new range, but a very large screen with a hole pattern wider than 700 mm fit the old 33CE004 and will not fit the new 33CE008. Measure the actual distance between the mounting holes on the back of your TV rather than trusting the spec sheet. If you are not sure, call us at 800-585-8795 and we will check your model.
If you owned the 33CE004NOPIPE
The NOPIPE was a mounting head bundled with a ceiling plate and no mast. Its cross reference above points at the 33CE008HEAD, which is the head alone. If you want the same head plus plate package you had, the closer match is the 33CE008 with No Mast picked as the length: you get the new head and your choice of ceiling plate, and you supply the pipe.
About the 33CE007 low profile mount
The 33CE007 is discontinued without a direct replacement. If the low profile was the reason you bought it, call us before you order anything. Depending on your ceiling and screen we can usually build a setup that sits nearly as tight to the ceiling, either a 33CE008 with the shortest mast or a head and plate combination. Common questions
Will my existing pipe and ceiling plate work with a new mount?
Yes. The new mounts use the same 1-1/2 inch NPT pipe system as the mounts they replace. Existing masts, extensions, couplers and ceiling plates thread right on.
Can I still get parts for my old mount?
Mostly yes. The pipes, couplers and ceiling plates are shared parts and we still stock them. The old heads themselves are retired, so if a head fails, the matching new head from the table above is the fix. Call us if you are not sure what you have.
