Yes, you can hang a TV from stage and lighting truss. Our truss clamps bolt around the truss chord, then a standard 1-1/2 inch NPT pipe TV ceiling mount threads into the clamp. Pick a clamp, a pipe length, and a mount head, and the TV hangs plumb below the truss.
The TCA-1 clamp fits box or round truss up to 3 inches and is rated to 180 pounds. The 11TR001 and 11TR002 mounts attach to horizontal truss sections. All three work with the same plates, pipes, and heads as the rest of our 1-1/2 inch system, so the drop length is up to you.
