Ceiling Plate for 1 1/2 Pipe

The standard flat ceiling plate for the 1½″ NPT pole system. This is the plate most TV ceiling mount jobs start with: it bolts flat to the ceiling and gives you a threaded 1½″ NPT socket to hang an adjustable mast, extension pipe, or a complete ceiling mount from.

• Fits: 1½″ NPT threaded pipe, adjustable masts, and extension columns
• For: flat ceilings, including wood joists, drywall over solid blocking, or concrete
• Finish: outdoor-rated black powdercoat
• Material: steel and aluminum construction
• Ships: about 3 lb, in a 9 × 6 × 5 in box

Anchor it into structure (a joist or solid blocking), thread your mast or pipe into the center socket, and hang the mount. Got a drop ceiling? Anchor to the structure above the grid and pass the pipe through a tile; never hang from the grid itself.
