This is the tilt and rotate head from our 1-1/2 inch NPT ceiling mount system (1-1/2 inch is also written 1.5 inch), sold on its own. It threads onto a 1-1/2 inch NPT pipe and grips a flat panel with a VESA mounting pattern from 75 x 75 up to 200 x 200. If you are building a custom drop from your own plate and mast, this is the part that actually holds the TV and gives you the tilt and swivel.

Threaded onto the pipe, this head adds 4-3/4 inches to your finished drop, measured to the center of the hole pattern. Use that number when you work out how far the TV will hang below the ceiling.
This is the same head that comes on the 22CE006 ceiling mount. If you want it packaged with a ceiling plate and mast, start there.
Keep in mind: screen size is only a guide. What matters is the VESA hole pattern and the weight. On the 22CE006 mount this same head is rated for screens up to 110 lb, but on a custom drop the real limit depends on your whole build, so measure your TV's mounting holes and call us if you are anywhere near the weight.

VESA mounting pattern
VESA is the spacing between the four bolt holes on the back of your TV. Screen sizes are a guideline - any TV whose bolt pattern fits this mount and whose weight is under the rating will work, even if the screen is larger. How do I find my TV's pattern?
Find the four threaded holes on the back of your TV and measure between them - left-to-right and top-to-bottom, center to center. Round to the nearest inch. Or check your TV's manual, or search "[your model] VESA pattern".
