The Video Mount Products AK-2 adapter kit converts the VMP042, VMP046, and LCD-1C (LCD-1CB) ceiling mounts to accept standard 1" NPT plumbing pipe. Use it when the run from the ceiling to the mount exceeds 60", so you can mast the mount on off-the-shelf threaded pipe instead of a fixed factory column. Pair it with the CP-2 ceiling plate to complete the installation.
